On January 21st and 22nd members of the GSDCE put on 4 demonstrations at the 2012 Edmonton Pet Expo. Working in front of 4 large and enthusiastic crowds was a great experience for members and their dogs.
In our demos we introduced the audience to our training philosophies and methods and showed them parts of the Schutzhund Sport by demonstrating some basic parts of the obedience and protection routines.
The demos were very well received and people were blown away by the fact that they could bring their little kids down to pet dogs that had completed their protection work only moments before. It was a good weekend for the club and the sport.
